McLaren
Vale is located 40 kilometres south of Adelaide on an
undulating coastal plain of well drained alluvial soils.
The region is within close proximity to the moderating
effects of the Gulf of St.Vincent. |

The
region was first planted with vineyards in the mid 1800s
and has long been regarded as the region in Australia
which produces fine rich wines with an abundance of
flavour. |

2007
was a dry growing season which resulted in smaller crops
than usual, this however increased the intensity and
richness of fruit flavour from our vineyards. |
|
Our Heritage
Vale Chardonnay has been gently finished with oak, and
shows melon and stone fruit aromas. The palate is ripe,
rich and has a long finish. |
